Megan Thee Stallion has taken the stand in the felony trial of singer Tory Lanez, accused of shooting the “Plan B” rapper in the foot in July 2020.

Megan, 27, entered the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday dressed in a bright purple suit and smiled at a group of cheering fans who had been waiting in the hallway to see her.

Lanez, meanwhile, entered the building shortly after holding his young son’s hand.

Megan was called to the witness stand on the second day of the trial, which stems from a 2020 incident where Lanez allegedly shot the “Sweetest Pie” rapper three times in the foot after he yelled, “Dance, bitch!”

The pair, who Megan said were in a friendly relationship before the incident, allegedly got into a fight in the car as they left a Hollywood Hills party hosted by Kylie Jenner. Her former boyfriend Kelsey Nicole was also in the vehicle.

“I just don’t feel right,” Megan told the court in a cracking voice after being asked if she was nervous, according to Rolling stone. “I can’t believe I have to come here to do this.”

The Grammy-winning rapper opened up about her personal relationships with both Lanez, 30, and Nicole, saying she and Lanez started feuding after she wanted to leave Jenner’s house and he didn’t. Her stylist had left the party, so she needed Lanez to give her a ride.

Megan told the court that when they left in the car, Lanez argued with both her and Nicole, calling them “bitches” and other expletives. She said she got out of the vehicle while it was on a main street, but once she realized she didn’t know the area, she took steps to get back in, citing her celebrity status.

The star said she was facing the car and saw Lanez shoot her as he stood over her on one of the steps of the SUV.

Prosecutors said during opening statements Monday that the shots left three bullet fragments in Megan’s feet and that the argument started after Megan criticized his “musical skills,” according to BuzzFeed News.

Texts from Lanez to Megan apologizing and saying he “really just got too drunk” but “can’t change what I did” were reportedly read in court, though Lanez’s lawyers claimed he was not admitted to shooting with a gun, but to being sexually involved with both Megan and Kelsey Nicole.

Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, was charged with every felony in October 2020 for assault with a semi-automatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He pleaded not guilty to both charges in November 2020.

He was placed under house arrest and electronic surveillance in October 2022, with Deputy District Attorney Alexander Bott arguing at the time that Lanez was a danger to society and previously defied court orders not to come within 100 yards of Megan (Lanez was previously arrested in April for the violating court orders by addressing Megan directly on social media and releasing DNA evidence via a third-party Twitter user).

The “Luv” singer was released from house arrest earlier this month to prepare for his trial Rolling stone.

Since identifying Lanez as her alleged shooter in August 2020, Megan has been forced to confront critics who support Lanez, saying in June that she felt she had become “the bad guy” in the situation.

She said Rolling stone in June that she hopes to see Lanez behind bars, and that the incident has left her scarred. She also said she underwent surgery the night of the shooting and spent about four days in a California hospital treating wounds she initially told police and doctors were from accidentally stepping on glass.

The star said she also had to turn to physical therapy to learn how to walk again.
